Description (Young Professional):

Applications are invited to attend the Online Interview for contractual positions under the
following projects:

1) National Innovations in Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA) (up to March, 2022, likely
to be extended).

2) DST-MRDP Project: Agricultural productivity in climate change scenarios: Impacts and
adaptation pathways (A National Facility for Capacity Building on Simulation Modeling in
Agriculture) under National Mission for Strategic Knowledge on Climate Change (2018-
March, 2022).

Owing to the prevailing COVID-19 crisis, the eligible candidates are requested to send their
application in the enclosed Performa along with self-attested scanned copy of the original
documents to the AAO CESCRA e-mail sureshcescra@gmail.com latest by 21st October, 2021.

After screening the applications, the eligible candidates will be called by email for the online interview which is fixed tentatively from 27th October 2021 at 10 A.M onwards. Original documents will be verified at the time of appointment. If any candidate is found to have submitted false claims at a later stage, their candidature will be summarily rejected.

Educational Qualification and Experience:

  • For NICRA Project
  • Name of Position: Young Professional – II
  • Emoluments (per month): Rs.35000 Consolidated
  • Essential: MSc/MTech in Agricultural Engineering/ hydrology/water resources/ Geo-informatics with first class / OGPA>7.5 from a recognized university.
  • Desirable: Proficiency in use of hydrological models, computer skills

  • For NICRA Project
  • Name of Position: Young Professional – II
  • Emoluments (per month): Rs.35000 Consolidated
  • Essential: MSc/ M.Tech Agriculture/agronomy/physiology/hydrology/remote sensing/ agricultural engineering with first class/OGPA>7.5 from a recognized university.
  • Desirable: Work experience in using crop and hydrological simulation models.

Terms & Conditions:

  1. Age limit: Maximum age 40 years for RA, 35 years for SRF, 35 years for YP-II & 30
    Years for YP-I (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC).
  2. The posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis. The project period is
    upto 31.03.2022 which is likely to be extended.
  3. The selected candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute or any ICAR
    Institutes, as the post is co-terminus with the project.
  4. The interview for eligible candidates will be held online, details of which will be
    communicated to eligible candidates by email.
  5. Reporting time for online interview will be communicated and all candidates shall adhere
    to the instructions.
  6. The candidates will have to compulsorily fill application form (as per the format annexed),
    all the self attested scanned certificates from Xth class onwards, date of birth certificate,
    NET/equivalent certificate, degrees certificate or provisional and a recent photograph must be
    enclosed. Proof of experience and publications also need to be sent by email by 21th October, 2021. The selected candidate will be required to produce all original documents and medical certificate at the time of joining.
  7. No TA/DA/any other expenses will be paid for attending the interview.
  1. Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the online
    interview.
  2. Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification ortermination.
  3. The candidate intending to attend the online interview, if any of his near or distant
    relative is an employee of the ICAR/IARI, have to declare his/her name, designation, nature
    of duties, relationship in writing so as to reach by 21th October 2021. If on the date of online
    interview such declaration is furnished and found that his relative is an employee of
    ICAR/IARI, such candidate will not be allowed to appear in the interview.
  4. The Director, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi reserves the right to cancel/postpone the interview or
    cancel specific posts without assigning any reason thereof.
  5. The Director shall also reserve the right to terminate the contract of job as mentioned above,
    even before the completion of the project for which no appeal thereof shall be entertained.
  6. In case of any disputes, it will be resolved in the jurisdiction of New Delhi court only.
