  • Experience in using and interpreting geophysical data for quick-clay mapping.

  • Applicants should master a Scandinavian language. Norwegian language training will be offered for otherwise well-qualified candidates.

As a researcher at NGU, you will work in and possibly lead various interdisciplinary projects. Hence, you must be good at cooperating and communicating, both internally and externally. The Section for Geohazards and Earth Observation cooperates closely with the public sector, particularly with the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE). Therefore, initiatives for establishing good dialogue and collaboration are key success factors for carrying out our mission for society. In general, initiative-taking and independence are valued.
