Job Description (Technical Associate)

Forest Survey of India (FSI) invites applications for the Post of ‘Technical Associate’ on contractual basis from eligible candidates for engagement initially for a period of 01 year which may be extended further based on the requirement of the post

Selection Process The selection will be done based on the procedure that will Comprise three pans(i) Written (multiple —choice/short answer type) test (ii) hands-on-test on the use of Remote Sensing and GIS software (only those candidates who qualify written test will be asked to appear in Hands-on test) Oil) Interview

The candidates may have to make suitable arrangement for stay on their own as the selection process may take more than one day. Candidates called for the selection process are required to bring their mark sheets and experience certificates in original They should also bring a copy of the filled-up form on the prescribed format (pdf can be downloaded from the FSI) website www.fsi.nic.in while appearing for the selection process. The final selection would be based on combined performance in the written test. Hands-on test & interview In case of any dispute in the process. the decision of the Director General. FSI shall be final.

Candidates who fulfill the essential/desirable qualification and experience should submit on-line application form available on FSI’s website www.fsi.nic.in. The selection and appointment of above technical personnel is purely on contractual basis and does not imply any form of permanent employment in Forest Survey of India
