Job Description (Senior Research Fellow, Research Associate):

Candidates are invited for appearing in Walk-in-interview for the following fellowship post in projects. The fellowship is temporary and co-terminus with the project.

A. Senior Research Fellow in Modelling Forest Phenological Parameters under IGBP project – (Fellowship amount Rs 24,000/pm- fixed):

Essential qualifications: M. Sc. Forestry/ M. Sc. (Ag.) Agronomy, M.Sc./M. Sc. Tech. in Geoinformatics/ Remote Sensing/ Geology with a first class degree from recognized university. Minimum 3 years working experience in satellite data analysis, Image Processing and GIS software, field/ ground truth data collection etc.

Job description: The project work includes tour for data analysis, frequent field data collection with scientific instruments and other scientific work.

B Research Associate (Remote Sensing and GIS) in FASAL project – (Fellowship amount Rs 30,000/pm- fixed):

Essential qualifications: M. Sc. (Ag.) Agronomy/ Soil Science/ Horticulture/ Agro-meteorology, M. Sc. Physics or M.Sc. /M. Sc. Tech. in Geo-informatics/ Remote Sensing/ Geology with a first class degree from recognized university. Minimum 05 years of experience in the field of Remote Sensing & GIS applications in agriculture mapping.

Job description: The project work includes tour for data analysis, frequent field data collection with scientific instruments and other scientific work.

Guide lines:

The desirous candidates having requisite qualifications and fulfilling other eligibility conditions may come for appearing in walk-in-interview along with filled application on prescribed format and all the certificates in original in support of their qualification, experience as well as no objection certificate from the present employer, if any, in the MP Council of Science and Technology, Vigyan Bhawan, Nehru Nagar, Bhopal 462003 at 10:00 AM on February 01, 2022. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates attending the interview.
The attested true copies of certificates/degree of qualifications/ experience/ proof of date of birth/ caste/ domicile/ testimonials along with marks certificates of all examinations, a recent colour passport size photograph should be submitted at the time of interview.
No further correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
Director General, MPCST has all rights to select or reject any candidate according to the Council’s requirement.
The fellowship will be offered initially up to 30^th September 2022. Duration may be extended for further depending on the performance after review of work and continuity of the project.
The candidate’s appearing in the walk-in interview must follow the prevailing Covid 19 guide lines on 01 February 2022.
