Job Description (Project Scientist):

Applications are invited from Indian citizens for filling up the following post on Direct Recruitment basis for DST sponsored Research Project entitled “Assessment of Impact of Climate Change on the Geodiversity in Uttarakhand Himalaya for five most disaster-prone Districts of Uttarakhand including Vulnerability and Risk Assessment: Implication for sustainable  Development and Policy-Making”. (duration three years, the Project is already commenced w.e.f. 5/10/2021) in the Department of Geology, H N B Garhwal University, Srinagar (Garhwal) Uttarakhand as per details given below:

Should have published at least 3 to 5 research papers in Sci journals. 3 years’ experience in Research and development in Academic / Industrial institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities evidenced by publication in Sci (Science Citation Index) journal. He/ She should be able to handle various mapping instruments such as Total Station and Differential Global Position System (DGPS), along with the working knowledge of GIS.40Rs. 67000/- +8 % HRA
