Job Description (Project Scientist | Senior Research Fellow)

Applications are invited for recruitment of following purely project based temporary positions under various projects at Division of Forestry Statistics, ICFRE HQ, ICFRE, FRI Campus, Dehradun. Candidates having appropriate qualifications in relevant subject/specialization with consistently good academic records and experience may appear in a Walk-In-Interview on 28th June, 2022 at 11.00 A.M. in the ICFRE HQ.

Interested candidates have to appear with their filled Application Form in the prescribed format along with following documents in the interview.

• One page for prescribed application form;
• Attachment of Certificate: High School, Intermediate, Bachelor and Masters,
• One-page CV,
• Details for experience (if applicable),

Project Details —Valuation of forests for GDP, Green GDP and Payment of eco-system goods and services (AICRP-13)

Period: Four Years (2020 -2023)
Funding Agency: CAMPA, MoEF&CC, Gol
Responsibility: All project related work/activities of scientific/technical/official nature including field tour
Qualifications: Bachelor degree or higher degree in Science/ Agriculture Science/ Geo-informatic/ Geography/ Agro-forestry/ Forestry
Salary: Rs. 17,000/- Fixed
Desirable: Exposure to RS&GIS, Evidence of scientific research as paper/dissertation
